Welcome to our house, Mr. Bananas! Mr. Bananas is Eli's class pet. Once every 8 weeks a student gets to take him home and play with him for the weekend. Mr. Bananas comes with a book to read and the student is supposed to document their day and put it in a big blue binder. Eli was so excited that it was his turn. Mr. Bananas stayed with him the entire time; he even came to church with us on Sunday morning!
First activity, putting together a Lego car.
Next, outside to teach Mr. Bananas how to play basketball.
Helping make dinner
Creating an African safari in the living room
Reading the bedtime story that came with Mr. Bananas..."Five Little Monkeys Play Hide and Seek". We must have read this book 20 times over the weekend. We can't wait for Mr. Bananas to come back and spend another weekend with us!
