March 31st was the first night of Brackettown in Houston. This year, Houston hosted the Final 4 for NCAA basketball. And it just so happens that Daddy's favorite team, UCONN, was in the Final 4 this year, so we headed down to downtown Houston to have some basketball fun!! There were tons of games for the boys to play, and prizes to be won if enough games were played! There was free Powerade and lots and lots of basketball! It was a great time. (However, I will admit that the food was not only horrendous, but terribly expensive. If there is a next time, we will be bringing our own dinner! :) )

(And since I'm sure I won't remember years from now, UCONN did end up winning the national title!! YAY!)

Photo 4: There were lots of courts inside to play basketball. This was the first one we stopped at. Bill is on the far left, then Eli (in white) and Brady...all shooting hoops. Brady doesn't even get close to the rim right now, he just likes playing with the big boys.

Photo 23: They had a celebrity basketball shooting contest and Eli and Brady were both chosen to get front row seats. You can see little Brady with Eli next to him in the center of this shot. I cannot remember the players names who played, but they ended up playing "HORSE" and it was taking FOREVER! So we only stayed a little while.

Photo 28: Brady and Eli's "rookie cards". They had a station set up where the kids could get rookie cards made for free. They didn't have any UCONN jerseys, only VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University), so both boys are in a VCU jersey for these pictures. These cards are so cute!
