My dear, sweet Brady, what a joy you are! You are lively and love to have fun, but also very sensitive and the first one to give a hug or kiss or try to make things all better. You love to laugh, especially at your brother, and your laugh is contagious. When you laugh, the world laughs with you! You pick up on things quickly and, according to your teacher, are at the top of your class. You know all your numbers and letters and can write your name and Eli's name. You are the only person in your pre-school class who can write any letters! You are very caring, and try to make sure that people stay safe. When we are driving down the road and someone is on a motorcycle without a helmet, you tell that person to put one on. You make sure we buckle up and tell me to be careful if I'm up on a ladder or stool. I love the way you take my face in both of your hands, pull me to you, and give me kisses. I love the way you come up to me and say, "I love you, Mommy!" for no reason at all. I love the way you lay on the floor next to your toys to play with them and you could play with them for hours. I love the way that your brother is your best friend, and there is no one else in the world that you want to be with. I love the way you still come to me when you wake up after your nap and sit in my lap and "hold you, you" until you are awake. I love the way you love God and say your prayers without being told to. I love how you love to sing and dance and be with your family. I love you, my sweet Brady. Happy Birthday!!

Photos 2 and 3: Brady eating his traditional birthday doughnuts.

Photo 4: Brady and Aunt Kam ready to PARTY!

Photo 5 and 6: Brady playing while waiting for Daddy to set up the first ever Brady Olympics!

Photo 7: Brady getting warmed up. For Brady's birthday this year, we had the "Brady Olympics" which was a bunch of games Bill set up outside for us all to play. It was a beautiful day outside and lots of fun!

Photo 8: First Event: Target Throw. Brady actually had the best record with 9 out of 10 balls thrown through the target! Way to go, little man! Brady's team won this one.

Photo 9: Eli's turn at the Target Throw. (Daddy supervising the games.)

Photo 10: Event 2: Zig-Zag. You had to zig-zag through the cones and every one's times on the same team were added together. The team with the fastest time won the event. Again, Brady's team won.

Photo 11: Brady's turn!

Photo 12: Event 3: The 20 yard dash. Again, the team with the fastest time wins. And, once again, Brady's team won this event. Looks like the other team needs to hit the gym!

Photo 14: Event 4: Pin Blaster. Each team had to knock over the cones of the opposing team. And Brady's team wins.

Photo 15: Final Event - Tug of War. Finally, the other team wins an event!!!

Photo 16: The winning team: Daddy, Brady, and Aunt Kam

Photo 17: Brady being carried off of the field in celebration of their gold medal!

Photo 18: The losing team: Mama, Eli, and Uncle Devin. So sad.

Photo 19: Dinner time! We ordered nuggets from Chick-Fil-A, one of Brady's favorites! He ate and ate and ate.

Photo 20: The partiers...Eli, Mama, Aunt Kam, Brady, and Uncle Devin, Daddy was taking the picture.

Photo 21 and 22: The Event Brady has been waiting for...presents! (Daddy, Eli, Brady, Uncle Devin). What I absolutely loved about Brady opening his presents was the raw emotion he displayed during the opening. He was so excited about each and every present. He'd exclaim, "this is cool!" or "awesome!" or "Oh, my favorite...I finally get to take it home!" (When referring to his Dinosaur Train items. We've been looking at them in Target, but now he gets to have it!) It was so neat to watch him open his presents. I only wish we had a video camera to have it all on video. It was really amazing.

Photo 23: Hook em' horns shirt! The minute he saw the color, he knew what this was. He's been wanting a "Hook em' horns" shirt for a long time!

Photo 25: Dinosaur Train from Papa and Nana. Brady LOVES his Dinosaur Train (a cartoon on TV). He has been playing with this non-stop since he received it!

Photo 26: Dinosaur Train set from Mama and Daddy. Look at that sweet, excited face!

Photo 27: Thomas the Train cake...can you tell Brady likes trains?

Photo 28: Blowing out candles.

Photo 29: Daddy, Eli, Mama, Brady...our family!

Photo 30 and 31: Brady playing with his Dinosaur Trains. I love when he plays like this. It is too precious!

Happy Birthday, Brady Bear! We love you!
