Papa and Nana Week July 17-23
Papa and Nana came for a week to meet Major and help me out, and what a help they were! They held the baby, watched him, let me take naps, made dinner, played with Eli and Brady, did the laundry, went grocery shopping, took us where ever we needed to go, and basically did a little bit of everything! It was so awesome to have them here, and I was so sad to see them leave. I wish we lived closer, but I am thankful for the time that we do have together. Thanks for a fantastic week, mom and dad, YOU ARE THE BEST!

Photo 12: Brady being silly, he was trying to do his "Pharaoh face" for Nana. He and Eli like to play Moses and Pharaoh, and Brady has this face he makes when he is Pharaoh, but he couldn't quite do it for Nana because he kept on laughing.

Photo 16: What else do grandparents do so well? Buy treats, of course! They bought the boys 4 boxes of Popsicles while they were here, and the boys consumed nearly all of them!
Photo 17: Major, wide awake, being introduced to the world of dinosaurs. He laid there looking at them for a long time!

Photo 19: Nana and Brady eating lunch together. Here they are singing, "Zacchaeus was a wee little man, and a wee little man was he". Brady just laughed and laughed.
Photo 20: Family Wii game night. Daddy, Eli, Papa, and Brady played the Wii one night. Papa, although he had never played the Wii before, ended up winning in tennis. Here is his celebration pose, with Eli clapping and jumping in the background. It was quite a fun night!

Photo 54: For our last night together before they fly back to South Carolina, Bill and I took my mom and dad out to the Swinging Door for some good ole' Texas BBQ! We got our meal "family style" so that we could try a little bit of everything. It was delicious and Major slept through the entire meal, which means I got to eat it! YAY! (Nana was taking the picture, that is why she isn't in this one.)
Photo 55: Eli and Brady in front of a totem pole that was at the restaurant. I suppose totem poles go with Texas BBQ?
