Usually, I get a lot more pictures of the pumpkin carving festivities, but with a 3 month old who likes to be held, I only got a few this year. What I loved about this year was that neither of the boys were scared about getting their hands in there and pulling out the seeds. Secondly, Brady was totally mesmerized by the entire process. He sat right next to Bill's side and watched intently the entire process (which took about 45 minutes). I wish I had gotten a shot of Brady taking out the eyes and such, but as I said, I was holding a crying baby. First, we have daddy taking off the top of the pumpkin.
Second, we have reaching in there and getting out the seeds.
And then somehow, we skip all the way to the finished product. Yes, I know Eli's eyes are closed, but please notice the cry look on Major's face. I only had a second to take this shot. And I didn't get any pictures of the in between of Bill carving the pumpkin, but I will say that he did a really good job.
Sweet boys ready for bed with their freshly carved pumpkin. Brady named this pumpkin, "Daddy". And tomorrow...trick or treating!!
