Major at 6 months...he is finally sleeping through the night and will take a nap or two during the day, this makes for a much happier mommy! He can sit up by himself (somewhat) and gets everywhere he needs to go by either rolling, or "crawling" on his back. (See picture below.) He arches his head backwards, aims himself, and uses his legs to scoot himself backwards on his back to where ever he wants to go. He is doing a lot of cooing and "talking". He loves the computer cord, TV cord, and basically whatever cord he can get his hands on. He loves to laugh at his brothers and his daddy and can't get enough of playing with them. He gives kisses by opening his mouth really wide and planting a big, slobbery one on the mouth of some family member. As long as he gets to eat and sleep, then he is a very happy baby! :)
Here is his official 6 month photo. We will be going to have a professional one done tomorrow or this weekend. At the doctor today, he was 18 pounds (55th percentile) and 28 inches long (92nd percentile). We've never had a child in the 50th percentile, we're going to have to get this kid eating! I think that the weight might be a little off because he hadn't eaten in about 12 hours when they weighed him (I woke him up from his nightly slumber to go to the doctor), so I'm sure he weighs a little more than that. But still, more solid foods, here we come!
