On Wednesday, Brady's pre-k 4 class performed the skit, "The First Family". Brady was cast as the lead character, Adam. Naturally, that meant I would be in attendance...with both cameras. :) I took the video, while one of the pre-school teachers took the still pictures for me. I know I am a nerd, but I had to have this event recorded!
Before the skit: Kate Gowens (Eve) and Brady (Adam) in the Garden of Eden.
Brady with his teacher, Mrs. Drake at the start of the performance. It went something like this, "In the beginning, God created the first man, Adam. And he created a beautiful garden for Adam called Eden."
"Adam took care of God's garden. He watered the flowers..." Here is Brady watering the flowers.
"He fed the animals..." Here is Brady feeding the animals.
"He did a great job. But he was still lonely. There was no one to be a friend for Adam." Ok, here is where we are missing some pictures. At this point, Brady lay down and went to sleep. Mrs. Drake took a rib from Brady and created Eve (Kate Gowens) and she lay down next to him and went to sleep. Then when Brady woke up his line was supposed to be, "Oh, look! A woman!"
Instead, he put his hands on his face (as seen above) and yells, "AAHHHHH!! A WOMAN!! RUN AWAY!!" And proceeds to run away. Mrs. Drake grabs him and says, "no wait, don't run away!" It was so cute.
Here, Eve is getting up to introduce herself to Adam.
"And they formed the first family!"
And while I was there, I got some pictures of him singing in chapel. Everyday I ask him what his favorite part of the day was and everyday he responds, "chapel". I can see why. They are rockin' and rollin' in there!
Who knows? Maybe we'll see him on Broadway someday. :)
