Random January 2013 Pictures

2013 has been flying by!  I feel like I am just hanging on for dear life and trying my best to get everything done.  Sadly, I haven't been able to post anything from this year yet, so here are some quick randoms from January...

I'd like to start with Eli's New Year's Resolution that he wrote in school.  Notice his resolution is to "Eat More". I guess our grocery bill just got bigger.

Major turned 18 months on January 11th, so we decided to have some family pictures done.  It was quite a process and was not a very enjoyable experience.  In fact, we had to go back twice because Major was screaming and throwing fits in all the pictures.  Here are some of the shannanigans that were going on before the shoot with Major and Brady.

Eli and Brady proudly displaying their winter coats...that they've gotten to wear once.  Hey, we just don't need this stuff in Houston!
Chick-Fil-A had a free breakfast Thursday, so I kept Brady out of school for a day (he's in pre-school, I can still do that once in a while :) ) and we had breakfast!  It was great!
How I love sweet Brady and Major playing together!
I've probably mentioned this before, but Brady is obsessed with football!  He is constantly playing football games (by himself or with Eli) in the living room.  What really cracks me up is when he calls me and says, "Mom!  Come watch this instant replay!" Then he'll "replay" whatever just happened in slow motion.  It is hysterical.
Last semester, Brady got to be Adam in their chapel skit.  This time he was a shepherd.
Something else that doesn't happen much anymore (or really at all for that matter) is Brady falling asleep on his daddy.  Poor thing was exhausted!

This year, Brady's school time is 30 minutes after Eli's.  We've been using that time to read the Bible, pray, and talk together in the car.  Then I've been letting Brady drive through the parking lot to park the car for us to go in.  He has really been doing a great job.  Here is his parking job...all by himself...no help from me!
This year, we've become really good friends with Jack and Kate Gowens, and their mom, Shelley.  Shelley has a sun roof in her car, and one day let the kids hang out of it while she drove around the parking lot.  They loved it.  Here are Eli, Brady, Jack Gowens, and Kate Gowens.
This pictures of just Brady and Kate crack me up!  Homecoming parade 2025!
And little Major just playing in the dirt and leaves...and trying to decide if running out in the road will be worth the punishment...
I love watching Major grow and learn and play.
The only time Major falls asleep in his carseat anymore is when we're running into naptime.  Look at those sweet little cheeks!
"Look, mom!  A new place to sit!"
Eli and Brady dressed Major on this particular January morning.  I love that they put him in Brady's Texans uniform.
Happy baby in the bath!

More from January to come...
