This Easter morning, Major was actually the first one awake. I took him to the back yard and showed him all the eggs and his response was, "I crack them?" I said yes, but you have to get up your brothers first. So he did just that. Here is Eli woken up by Major, and Brady who is refusing to be woken up. Major was jumping on him and yelling, "Easter Bunny came! Easter Bunny came! Get eggs!"
Then the boys found their baskets and the books that were left for them. Even though they knew they had a backyard full of candy, they still all sat down to read first. Melts my heart.
Time to go to the back yard! Ready, set, go!
Brady (age 5), Eli (age 8), and Major (age 2) with filled baskets and happy on this Easter morning!
This one is of Eli and Brady pretending to be tigers and hiding in the grass from Bill and Major ready to pounce on them.
Me and my yearly lamb cake (I am 34 years old in this picture)
This last one is of Major saying, "yummy lamb cake!"
We had a wonderful Easter service at church after our egg hunt at home. Then we were home in plenty of time for me to make ham, green bean casserole, macaroni and cheese, and rolls. A great meal with my wonderful family. Happy Easter! He is risen! He is risen, indeed!
