Christmas Day

We finally made it to Christmas Morning! The boys were awake at 4:30 am, but graciously gave Bill and myself until 6 to wake us up. Then it was off to the races!
First, we like to see what Santa put in our stockings.

After the stockings, it is time to get into some presents!

After this picture was taken of me, we had a very unfortunate accident. Brady grabbed a razor blade to open one of his packages that he couldn't get open. In the process, he managed to slice his hand. We had to run him to the emergency room, where he got 3 stitches in his hand and won't be able to get them out until January 3rd. This took about an hour and a half out of our Christmas morning. It was not a fun experience, and I hope to never have a Christmas morning ER run again!

This look on Bill's face is because he received a gift from Santa of tickets to his favorite band, The Lumineers. They will be in Atlanta in March.

Christmas morning was on a Sunday this year, so after opening presents, we went to a candle light service at church with Papa and Nana.
There were presents at Papa and Nana's house, too!

Christmas Dinner: turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls, and pecan and pumpkin pie for dessert. Yum, yum!
What a fun and blessed Christmas Day! I'm so thankful for my family and for all the love that we share. And I'm very thankful that my poor Brady is ok and only needed 3 stitches on his little hand. God Bless, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!
