6 Weeks and 2 Months Old!

I know I am a little behind in my posting, but having three children and taking Eli to and from school everyday is really eating up all of my time!  Major is growing fast and getting bigger everyday.  These first pictures are of Major at 6 weeks old.  At that point, he was smiling constantly and still sleeping in the day and staying up into the night.  Our friend at church, Mary Fink, brought me a recliner, so now I spend many nights holding him and sleeping in the recliner.  These first two photos are my attempts to catch him smiling.  You have to be fast to get it, I guess I'm not fast enough. :)

Photos 3 and 4: Major at 6 weeks old.

Photo 5: Taken at 8 weeks old, just because he's so stinkin' cute!
Photo 6: Bill brought Eli and Brady some Houston Christian helmets.  So here are my boys, sporting their football helmets.  Bill holding Major, Eli, and Brady.  I do believe these boys are destined for some football.
Photo 7: Major wearing his UT outfit with Eli's UT helmet.  Just getting ready for when he plays there in college.

Photo 9: Major at 2 months old.  Eli, Brady, Daddy, and Major ready to watch the Texans beat the Colts!  (Which they did, by the way.)
Photo 10 and 11: Major's official 2 month pictures.  I will choose one of these for his scrapbook.  I literally took 30 pictures of him trying to get a good one, and these were the best two.
A couple of things to remember about Major at two months...he has started sleeping about 6 or 7 straight hours through the night (hallelujah!).  Total, he probably sleeps 12 hours a day, but the other 6 hours he sleeps while Brady and Eli are awake, so there is no more sleep for me.  I am hoping that this will reverse itself soon.  Major still loves his Eli and Brady and will smile for them constantly.  He loves to be held and when he cries, he adds some snorts in with the crying.  I wish I could capture the snorts so that I could hear it later, but I know it will only exist in my memory.  He is also a constant mover.  If I place him on the floor and leave the room, he can be half way across the living room a few seconds later when I return.  Even the doctor laughed at how much he could move.  At his check-up the doctor proclaimed him perfectly healthy.  He was 24 inches long (in the 75th percentile) and 13 pounds, 2 ounces (in the 85th percentile).  He is our growing, happy boy!
