Eli's First Football Game

 Yesterday (Sunday) was Eli's first ever football game!  It was so exciting to see him and his best friend, Max, get out there on the field together.  Eli played quarterback for the game and Max was a running back.  I don't know if Eli will always get to be quarterback, but he was today!  Their team won, although I don't know the exact score because it started raining really hard, so I got poor baby Major inside.  Eli did score a two point conversion, so he got in the in-zone, too!  He did such a great job at quarterback, I can't wait to see what the future holds for him!

I love this shot.  Eli taking the snap, Max on the outside waiting for the pass.  They are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this season.  I know it is completely random, but evidently, the coach allowed his wife to pick the team, and she picked the "bays" because she likes bays.  So she chose Green Bay, Tampa Bay or San Francisco Bay.  We got stuck with Tampa Bay.  Perhaps next year we can get a better team, but at least we now have a jersey we didn't have before! :)
