Saturday, September 28th we went to the Montgomery Airport to see one of the last planes still in operation that participated in the Berlin Airlift! It was so cool. This plane actually flew millions of tons of food and supplies into West Berlin following the end of World War II. It was also really neat that they had several veterans who actually conducted the Berlin Airlift operation on the plane to explain all the parts of it. Sadly, Major was especially cranky on this day, so I didn't get many pictures because I was corralling him the entire time. He also wouldn't stand to have any pictures taken of him, so most of these are just Eli and Brady.
Eli and Brady sitting as passengers on the plane!
The only thing Major would do without a fit...touch the airplane. I snapped a quick photo before it was too late.
