At ACA, they give out reading awards for the second grade, and start giving out academic awards in the 3rd grade. Eli eared the top reader award (he read the most books in the 2nd grade - a new record!) and the highest percentage award when taking the reading tests. (ACA uses something called "Accelerated Reader" and after you read a book, you take a test on it and get points based on how well you do on the test. He got 340 points with the previous record being 327. We are very proud of him. :) )
