New Years' Rockin' Eve 2017
The boys and their Nieman cousins had a rockin' New Years' Eve party tonight! We had a great time playing bunches of games, listening to music, having a funny photo shoot, and watching the ball drop. It was a super great time! This first picture is of Major and his cousins Victoria and Valerie playing fort together awaiting the evening's festivities. (Victoria and Valerie are the children of my sister, Rebekah and her husband, Dan.) Next, we have Brady at the silly photo shoot. Then Valerie went to take a nap, so we partied just the Moore boys and Victoria. First game was Cookie Face. In this game, you put a cookie on your forehead and you have to get it in your mouth without using your hands. Major won this game! Next, we played New Years Bingo. Major, Victoria, and Eli all won a game. Poor Brady, he got close, but never won. The next game was "Tic Toc Clock". One paper plate has the numbers of the clock and the other paper plate has M&M candies. Each player had to use a straw to move the M&M from the plate to a number on the clock. Eli won this game! After that, we played musical mats (musical chairs). Brady won most of these games. Last game was "Find the Alarm". We hit 4 different clocks and set the timers. Then the kids had to find where ever the alarms were hidden in the house. They had a blast! After games, we played silly photo booth and took a bunch of pictures of the kids with different props. Before having the ball drop, we had the kids write their New Years' Resolutions. (These are the last pictures.) You can read Eli and Brady's resolutions, but I'll interpret Major's for you since his is in pictures. Major's resolutions are 1. to swim more 2. eat healthier foods 3. lean how to toss food into his mouth and catch it 4. lean how to decorate for Christmas as good as his mom. :) This one made me super happy! What a fabulous way to ring in the New Year! Goodbye 2017, hello 2018!
