Getting the Christmas Tree

In keeping with our Moore family tradition, the Saturday after Thanksgiving we got our Christmas tree, decorated it, and decorated our house!  What I love about our boys at this age is that they are SO EXCITED about everything Christmas.  We've had our tree up for a week now, and they boys love the lights on and Brady gives the tree "hugs".  They run around in circles, jump around, and are basically wild banshees in anticipation of Christmas.  It is so wonderful.  I wish they would always be like that.  This first photo is of little Major with his "Baby's first Christmas" ornament.  We get a different ornament every year, and our 2011 ball is for Major.  He is 4 1/2 months in this picture.
Next is Brady decorating the Christmas tree.
And Eli putting on the decorations.
I hand out the decorations for the boys to put on the tree.  This year, we broke 2 of the balls.  Luckily, they weren't any of the yearly ornaments, but I hope as the boys get older they will break fewer items!
Eli, one week from being 6, with his "Baby's first Christmas" ornament.
Brady, 3 1/2, with his, "Baby's first Christmas" ornament.
My 3 beautiful boys with their fully decorated Christmas tree!  This is the first year we don't have tinsel on the tree.  I looked at Wal-Mart, Target, and Garden Ridge and couldn't find any!  I guess tinsel is one of those older traditions that have gone out the window!
Reading the boys their first Christmas book of the season before going to bed after an exciting tree decorating party!
For whatever reason, my blog and my computer refuse to work well together, so once again, the pictures are out of order.  Here are my boys picking out their tree.

Daddy helping Major put up his ornament.
Brady decorating the mantel.  He did such a great job!
Eli putting out the stuffed animals and the Christmas village.
Major was the supervisor.

Lowe's had a big Santa with their Christmas trees, the boys wanted their picture taken with him. :)
