Eli is 9. NINE! It is hard to believe that he was born nine years ago. The time just goes so fast. He is such a sweet boy. He loves God, he loves his brothers and plays with them often, he loves to read, he LOVES school and has a great attitude about it every day, he is very sensitive to the needs of others around him and looks for ways to be a servant, he is very helpful and in some ways very mature, he loves to play football and baseball, and he loves his family and friends. His love language is quality time and if he can find a woman who will make him chocolate chip pancakes, he will be hers for life.
Eli's traditional birthday doughnuts. He says a great thing about having his birthday in December is that he has Christmas themed doughnuts. We LOVE Christmas in this house.
After school, we went to pick out our Christmas Tree. We usually try to do this the day after Thanksgiving, but since we were in Michigan, we had to wait until Monday after school to get it.
After diligent searching by my crew, we found our winner!
Last year, Bill worked at a Christmas Tree lot, so he is an expert at tying trees to the tops of cars. :)
We came back home and had a birthday dinner of pizza and then opened presents!
Tree decorating time! We turned on some Christmas music and the magic began!

My babies!
Eli has waiting all night, now he can open the presents!
A new first baseman's mitt!
Some pants that actually fit him!
And, of course, some baseball cards. :)
He was 4 foot 11 inches on his 9th birthday! Yikes! He is also very close to having the same show size as me. Make it stop! Make it stop!
Happy birthday, big man! I love you!
