Fridays have been declared "Fun Friday" breakfast days. I make chocolate chip muffins for the boys. Here they are enjoying their muffins on October 3rd at our island in our kitchen.
Friday, October 10th marked the end of the first 9 weeks grading period. We all survived! So we celebrated with slushes from Sonic.
Saturday, October 11th, Brady wanted to surprise me by sweeping the house. He sneaked past me in the laundry room, grabbed the broom and dust pan, and went to work. I noticed he was quiet, so I went looking for him and found this. Brady is my very sweet and precious boy. He wants so badly to help others and to make them happy. He is my sensitive and intuitive one. Thank you, sweet Brady! I love you!
Saturday night, October 11th, Eli had a friend, Jonah Kohring, come and spend the night. I got a picture of them playing a basketball game on Major's goal. Eli hasn't had a friend spend the night in almost 2 years at his 7th birthday party in 2012. He and Jonah are having an awesome time. It is right now 10:15 pm and they are still going strong. :)
This last picture is of Eli and Brady at their elementary school Pirate Math Night. (October 16th) They went to school for a couple of hours and dressed like a pirate and played a bunch of math games. They had so much fun! (Brady is steering the wheel, and Eli is standing next to him.)
