Bill's youngest sister, Sara (Moore) Parsons, is due to have her first baby in November. her friends threw her a shower in September, and I was blessed to be able to go to it. Bill's other sister, Kam, who lives in Austin, Texas, was also able to fly to Boston. We had a great couple of days! The night Kam and I flew in, we stayed up until 4 am talking! I'm not sure I ever did that, even in college! It was an awesome sister's weekend!
Sara has a Duncan Doughnuts within walking distance of her house. This was our first stop every morning. Uncle Cliff and Aunt Carol were kind enough to send a gift card, so we were able to eat off of that! Sara is on the left, then me, then a little bit of Kam is also in this picture.
The first day we were there, we went to Salem, Massachusetts, where the Salem Witch Trials took place. It was really neat to see the place where it all happened. Not to mention that New England has a feel all its own. I can't get enough of all the sites and sounds of an amazing city like Boston!
The next day (Saturday) was Sara's shower. This first picture is Sara with the gift I got her...wall decorations that a friend of mine (Lindsey Donaldson) made for her. It matches the baby's bedding wonderfully and looks so cute in the room!
Bill wanted to be sure the baby was brought up right, so he got him a Yankees shirt. (They are all big Boston Red Sox fans.)
Aunt Carol also sent a gift for everyone of some lotion and bath salts. I am on the far left, then Erin Flannery Kelly (Bill, Kam, and Sara's cousin), Kam, and Sara
