Bill began an elementary football league for ACA that started this fall. There is a termite team of 3rd and 4th graders, and a pee wee team of 5th and 6th graders. Eli just made the cut off for the termite team. He has played center all season and has done a great job. Sadly, their team didn't win any games, but they learned a lot and got a lot better as the season progressed.
This first picture is Eli at his very first football practice. Here he is catching a pass in a drill.
In this one, Eli is doing a running drill.
What do little brothers do while big brothers are practicing? Why, wear cones on their heads, of course! Brady and Levi Summers (big brother Tyson is on the team with Eli)

I love this sweet boy!

Eli, running off the field at the end of the game. Good game, buddy!
ACA had an elementary football night before one of their varsity games. The elementary football players got to go out on the field and have their names called before the game. I got Eli the wrong jersey. He is actually wearing one of the old ACA high school jerseys instead of his termite jersey. (He is wearing #40.) Oh, well. He looks happy, regardless. :)
