July started off with our wonderful trip to Tennessee! Great family time and Dollywood is always a highlight! I hope we can go back soon! July 4th we were in Gatlinburg, and they were under a no fireworks ban because the forest was so dry, so we did a few sparklers and then watched Dollywood's fireworks from our cabin in the mountains.
July 11th marked Major's 8th birthday. He always asks me to make him some sort of themed cake, and this year it was a sword! I did the best I could. I love his imagination and his love for people. His super power is making friends. He is very kind and caring, and always ready with a hug for anyone who needs it. He loves imaginary play and has a very impressive collection of swords. Happy birthday, big boy!
