June - fishing, Father's Day, Brady's all-star baseball, and a trip to Gatlinburg. The boys and Bill have found a new love in fishing, and Bill and Brady go any chance they can get. Eli and Major go sometimes, but they don't have the love for it that Bill and Brady do. Unfortunately, Brady's all-star baseball team wasn't very good, and they lost in the first round. But playing baseball is always fun and we always appreciate whatever experience we can get with our sporting ventures! At the end of June-the first week of July, we surprised the boys with a trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee! I have been to Gatlinburg many times, and it is definitely one of my happy places. My mom and dad met us there, as well as my brother James. My brother DJ's kids, Haley, Katie, and Tyler, now live with my parents, so they were there as well. The very last picture in this post is one of myself, my brother James and my brother DJ with my dad on a ride at Dollywood when we were little. I'm not sure when the photo was taken, but I'm thinking the late 1980s. I love that I am now taking my own children to the place I loved so much growing up!
