May saw the end of another school year. Major completed the 1st grade, Brady the 5th grade, and Eli the 7th grade. Spring football was a success for both Brady and Eli. My Aunt Karen came down from Michigan to visit her mom who lives in Cape Coral, and stopped to visit us as well. She even came to one of Brady's baseball games! The pictures seem to have gotten a little scrambled up in the upload, but below are images of awards ceremonies for all the boys, spring football, spring band concert for Brady, spring sports awards at school, Mother's Day, Eli's induction into the National Junior Honors Society, and lastly, we had Brady's 11th birthday and our trip to Lake Okeechobee to mark the end of school! Brady got all sorts of baseball related presents, because he's a baseball man. He says he wants to be a preacher after he leaves major league baseball. He is an absolute joy and spreads love and joy where ever he goes. I love how he loves his brothers and loves people and fights for what is right. He is truly my Micah 6:8 man!
This was our first full school year in Florida, and we wanted to take a little end of the school year trip so the boys could fish and we could just relax and get away for a few days. We found a nice little cabin on Lake Okeechobee where we fished and swam and had a great time as a family. We look forward to going again in 2020! Welcome, summer!
