July 4th and Major's 9th birthday were the highlights of this month. First, I have my traditional picture of my boys on the 4th and the second picture is one of my favorites of them on July 4th 2014, I think. The house they are standing in front of belongs to their grandparents, Bill and Betsy Moore, whom they call Big Daddy and Gran Betty. We were visiting them in Houston, Texas. This year, My sister Bekah and her two girls (Valerie and Victoria) came down to visit their grandparents who also live here in Fort Myers and they spent July 4th with us. We had some great sparklers and small fireworks on the evening of the 4th. It was a great time!
Major's 9th birthday was on July 11th. He has such a big personality - he loves big and plays big and does everything big! He absolutely loves holidays and parties and celebrations and his birthday is no exception. He is a leader and a friend to all. Happy birthday, buddy! I love you so! Thank you for filling my life with joy, happiness, and fun! PS: If anyone is wondering about the last picture on these, they are "birthday spankings" fake spankings - one for each year of life. And at the end a pinch to grow an inch!
